Introduction
Business on Purpose (we, our, us) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you submit details through our website, forms, or other channels. This policy applies to anyone interacting with our services online.
Information We Collect
We collect the information you voluntarily provide, including:
- Name
- Phone number
- Company name
- Areas of interest (Coaching, Speaking Engagements, or Others)
We may also collect non-identifying information such as browser type, IP address, and referring website to improve our services and ensure security.
Information You Submit Through This Website
This website has two forms. The strategy call request asks for your name, email address, and a short description of what feels most chaotic in your business right now. The Chaos Scorecard asks for your email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number, and it records the statements you checked along with the score and focus area they produce. With either form we also record the date and time you submitted it and the page you submitted it from.
Cookies and Analytics on This Website
We use analytics to understand how people find and use this site: which pages get visited, how long people stay, and where they get stuck. We do not use it to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not sell what it tells us.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google. It sets two first-party cookies on your browser: one named _ga, which distinguishes one visitor from another, and one beginning with _ga_, which remembers your current visit. Both last up to two years unless we shorten them. Google processes this information on our behalf; how Google handles data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Hotjar. We use Hotjar to see how visitors move through the site so we can find what confuses people. It sets cookies that recognise your browser as you move between pages and when you come back, and it records on-page activity such as the pages you view, clicks, scrolling, and mouse or touch movement. We review this in aggregate rather than to identify you.
If you would rather not be included: you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, opt out of Hotjar at hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. This site works normally either way, and none of these cookies are needed for it to function.
Nothing else is embedded here. Where we link out to our podcast or our books, those are ordinary links, and nothing loads from those sites unless you choose to follow them.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested information or services
- Contact you regarding coaching, speaking engagements, or other opportunities
- Improve our services and internal operations
Communication Consent
By submitting your information, you consent to receive communications from Business on Purpose. This may include emails, phone calls, or text messages related to your inquiry or interest. Consent is not required to purchase services. You may opt out anytime by replying STOP to texts or contacting us directly.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for unrelated marketing purposes. Your information is only used internally or shared with trusted partners when necessary to provide requested services.
Service Providers
A few providers help us run this website. Vercel hosts it and keeps short-lived operational records of requests, which include your IP address, browser type, and the page you requested. Resend delivers your form submissions to our inbox. Google and Hotjar provide the analytics described above.
Each of them handles this information to provide their service to us, under their own terms, and not for their own marketing.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Opt out of communications
- Request access, updates, or deletion of your personal information
- Withdraw consent at any time

How Long We Keep Your Information
When you send us an inquiry, it arrives as an email and that email is where we keep it, for as long as we may need it to respond to you and to keep track of our conversation with you. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Our host's operational records can briefly contain the same information. Those records are deleted automatically within a short period, currently one day or less, and we do not treat them as a record of your inquiry.
Data Security
We implement reasonable industry-standard measures to protect your data. While no system is completely secure, we prioritize keeping your information safe.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
